I have kind of an embarrassing question to ask about this blog thing...
My background shows up just fine on my small laptop screen, but on larger computer monitors, it doubles. Does anyone happen to know what dimensions the photo needs to be?...
The dimensions I have researched and applied are 1450x1100... 14.5 inches x 11.00 inches
It is probably something so simple, but at this point I am desperate!
Thanks so much

Many backgrounds are set up to display on a larger screen so when you have a smaller screen you don't see as much of the background. That's normal!!!
Sorry, I'm lost when it comes to formatting stuff- I just stick with the templates they offer on Blogger. I'm only seeing one set of daisies on my screen if that helps though.
I don't think it doubles (though its hard to tell), but the background is blurry. I'm not sure if that is what is supposed to be.
I have a question for you ;)
How do you make it so when you type in a website you can change the address to just someone's name/or to anything you like for that matter. Like if I wanted to type your blog address on my blog, but wanted to have it show up as your blodg name and not the address. I've seen others do this, and have no idea how to do it.
ME!
Kristy, I think you are talking about creating a link in a post? After you type it out, select it then press the Link button on the tool bar. This will ask where you want the browser to take you when you click on it. After you press the Link button, you just type in the address in the dialog box and you can even test the link to make sure it's right. It will appear a different color to indicate that there is link attached with those words. I hope this helps!
I've never messed with the diminsions and stuff.. but there are a few blog sites that show how to do this or that..
